Write for us
We welcome original pitches about making time off feel more considered: weekend pace, home-based pastimes, low-key outings, shared plans and seasonal ideas. Send proposals through the Contact page, with the reason for writing set to editorial question.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the central idea, who it might help and what a reader could take away. A strong proposal has a clear angle, a specific subject and advice that does not depend on invented experience, professional credentials or claims that need fresh statistics. Explain how your idea differs from what is already covered on the site.
A voice that fits
We like writing that is warm, observant and specific: the small detail that changes a plan, the trade-off between two ways to spend an afternoon, or the reason one simple anchor can help a day take shape. Keep recommendations flexible and avoid treating one taste, budget or household as the norm.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page to send a short pitch and a little about your approach. Please do not send a complete article unless we have agreed to discuss one. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and we will consider it for fit and usefulness.
A weekend can be full without being crowded
We believe a little intention makes room for the good bits: a favourite place, a quiet hour or time with people you like.
